Dear Members.
Please receive notice calling an Annual General Meeting of Kwazulu-Natal Sports Confederation. In terms of Clause 25.5 of the Kwazulu-Natal Sports Confederation constitution, the AGM should be called no later than 30 November each year. The meeting is scheduled as follows:
Date: Saturday, 02 December 2023
Time: 10:00 – 13:30
Venue: TBC
The following constitutional clauses provide guidance to members in terms of the AGM
25.5 The Secretary shall, by registered post, telefax or electronic mail, give all Members at least sixty (60) days advance notice of the date of the Annual General Meeting, which date shall be determined by the KwaZulu Natal Executive Committee. The Annual General Meeting shall be called no later than 30 November of each calendar year.
25.6 Motions to an Annual General Meeting shall be submitted to the Secretary in writing per registered post and/or telefax and/or electronic mail not less than. thirty (30) days prior to the date of such Annual General Meeting. The Secretary shall circulate all motions submitted to him together with the agenda for the Meeting and the audited financial statements of the KwaZulu Natal Sports Confederation to all Members per registered post and/or telefax and/or electronic mail not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
You are therefore requested to submit Motions to our office before Wednesday, 01 November 2023 for the attention of the 1st Vice President. peter@kznsc.com. This will provide an opportunity for KZNSC to circulate any motions received to the members within 14 days of the AGM.
25.7 Members must forward in writing to the Secretary the names of the Delegates who will represent them at the Annual General Meeting.
Unless such confirmation is received, by the KZNSC at least 7 (seven) days before the meeting, on the 24th of November 2023 on your organization’s letterhead, the Delegates in question will not be accredited and will be excluded from the meeting.
